Hello hello! Kim here bringing you a card I made with an elegant die from Find It Trading, Christmas Baubles. This delicate die cuts out very nicely, a little tip though if you do like I did and use glitter paper also use a shim it’ll give you a smoother cut. The glitter paper I used is self adhesive which makes it even more user friendly in my opinion. I used silver glitter paper and gold glitter paper because I thought they would really stand out against the red and I was very pleased with how it turned out.
Now I like the baubles a whole lot but I definitely agree that they are not able to carry the whole card but I also wanted them to really stand out. I decided to use MFT’s Merry Christmas Greeting stamp and embossed it in white embossing powder. With this large sentiment offset it left a good amount of space for the Christmas Baubles to fit right in beside it. I adhered it all down to a card front with Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive and with all the glitteriness (not a real word I know) of the baubles I felt it was finished. Yay! One card down and oh so many more to go, good thing I love making Christmas cards right?
