Hello and Happy Holidays!
I hope you all are enjoying this season of merry making and have had some time for yourselves as well. I know this time of year can get hectic and sometimes overwhelming so I’m glad you have taken a break and joined me here for a little inspiration (I hope). I am still making Christmas cards for friends and family and haven’t been able to get my fill of November’s Flavor of the Month card kit. This is the most recent card I have made from this kit.

Quick Tip: When embossing on watercolor paper tape it down to your surface first (I used a small cutting board so I can hold onto it easier and move it around easier) this will keep your paper from bowing up on you.
I have been wanting to watercolor an image for some time now and thought this ornament would be perfect. Before I began watercoloring I stamped the image in black ink then again in Versamark and embossed it with clear embossing powder which gave me “guidelines” if you will while I was painting. The gold didn’t show up as sparkly in the picture as it does it real life unfortunately but you still get the idea. I pulled pieces from the different collections in the November Flavor of the Month kit. I glued the strand of pearls as a frame around the colored image with Multi Medium Matte it held it well, dried clear and didn’t take very long to dry either. Used WOW embossing powder to add the sentiment that comes with An Ornamental Christmas stamp set, I am smitten with that font and the leafy sprigs!
That is it for me and this card I think it came out lovely and I enjoyed making it which that is why we do this after all right? Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a Merry Christmas!

Me and the hubs merry making with The Mouse!
